Say Hello to the IBT-36 Mobile Ice Station

You may be asking yourself: “How did we come up with the idea of a mobile ice station?” Believe it or not, the image above is the true origin story of the IBT-36.

Everytime I walk around restaurants, fast food chains, or street carts, I tend to always look at the stainless steel equipment as it fascinates me.

One evening I was in New York City’s Penn Station walking around looking for something to eat when I came across an Asian Restaurant and spotted a blue cooler on top of a wire rack (as seen above here). Immediately I thought to myself, there must be a better and safer way.

I went back to our factory headquarters and spoke to my engineer and production teams and we designed this IBT-36 Mobile Ice Station.

We made it mobile so it can be easily moved to different areas. The storage underneath can be used for extra drinks, cups, napkins, straws, etc. Finally, the utility shelf can be used to serve customers and also folds down when not in use or when moving the unit.

The IBT-36 is truly a result of creative imagination and innovative engineering.
