Everything You Need to Know about IMC Tray Carts

Selecting the correct IMC tray cart to fully meet your operational needs can be a daunting task. After all, the function of all tray carts is to accommodate your serving needs. Delivering fresh meals with ease in any institution is crucial.

At IMC, we manufacture 3 types of tray carts: TC1, TC2 & TC. Each of them have their own unique design, but what exactly are the variations between each model? Let’s break it down below.

What’s so Special about Tray Carts Anyway?

To start off, all IMC tray carts are primarily used in hospitals, retirement homes, nursing homes, schools & other institutions. Let’s look at the common specs between all models:

Stainless Steel Construction – Every IMC tray cart is constructed of durable type 300 series stainless steel. Furthermore, all IMC tray carts have double walled insulated doors. Why? The insulation helps to keep hot foods hot & cold foods cool when being moved from the kitchen to guests’ rooms.

Swing Doors – All doors swing back 270 degrees & held in open position by a positive latch for easy service & cart washing.

Removable Tray Slides – A tray cart would not be a tray cart without removable tray slides! Every IMC tray cart can accommodate 15” x 20” or 14” x 18” trays. Every tray cart features a convenient side load operation, allowing (2) trays per slide on 5” spacing. Tray spacing can be customized.

Casters – You need to move your tray cart from area to area, so casters are mandatory. That’s why each IMC tray cart has 6″ plate casters, (2) with brakes. Carts are provided with push handles for easy mobility.

Ease of Cleaning – Keeping your equipment clean & hygienic is critical in any institutional environment. The removable tray slides, pitched bottom & removable doors help make cleaning a breeze.

interesting article like yours. It is pretty price enough for
me. In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made excellent content as you probably did,
the web will likely be a lot more helpful than ever before.
